Heart Failure

The Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Therapies (PACT) program at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital is one of the only dedicated pediatric heart failure programs in the country. This innovative program is designed to translate the medical and electrophysiologic advances in heart failure to the pediatric population, and serve as a smooth transition to cardiac transplantation for those patients whose disease cannot be medically stabilized. Under the leadership of Dr. David Rosenthal, this program is serving an important role in developing national guidelines for the management of heart failure patients.
