Pulmonary Hypertension
Stanford University is home to the Vera Moulton Wall Center for Pulmonary Vascular Disease, directed by Dr. Jeffrey Feinstein. This program, launched in 2000, is a major new program for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension. One of only a handful of programs in the nation with the ability to treat both children and adults with pulmonary hypertension, this program is already growing rapidly, and is bringing together an unprecedented constellation of expertise in this challenging field. Recently, Dr. Marlene Rabinovitch was recruited as Director of Research for the Wall Center. Dr. Rabinovitch is word-renowned for her work in the etiology and treatment of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary vascular disease, and runs an active basic science laboratory at Stanford.
